Supplements I'm Taking

Where I know the measures, I've listed them.  Each bolded item is a separate capsule/pill:

B-12 (1000mcg)

Chromium Picolinate (200mcg)

Cinsulin (Chromium Picolinate, Cinnamon, Magnesium)

Prostate Health Complex (Zinc, Selenium, Saw Palmetto, Pumpkin Seed, Safflower Oil, Beeswax, Lecithin, Palmitic Acid, Stearic Acid, Oleic Acid, Linoleic Acid, Lycopene)

Iron (65mg)

Calcium Citrate (Vitamin D3, Vitamin B6, Calcium-500mg, Magnesium-80mg, Zinc-10mg, Copper-1mg, Manganese-1mg, Boron-1mg)

Fish Oil (Anchovy, Mackerel, Sardine) - contains soy 1000mg, Omega-3 (w/EPA and DHA) 300mg

Some of this is stuff I've had on hand for awhile. I'm working my way through it.  I didn't know until this list was compiled that I was getting double doses of items. I'm also not happy to discover that my Prostate Health Complex is using safflower oil.  :-/

I placed an order at Vitacost (www.vitacost.com) (delivery is expected on Friday) for the following:

Nature's Way Kelp

Natural Vitality Magnesium Calm

Vitacost Mega EFA Omega-3 EPA & DHA Fish Oil (2126mg)

Vitacost Alpha Lipoic Acid & Acetyl L-Manitine HCI (1600mg)

Vitacost Vitamin D3 - 5000IU

I based this selection on the recommendations made by Robb Wolf at the end of his book, The Paleo Solution Diet.

I also ordered some shampoo that I like from them:

Giovanni Shampoo Tea Tree Triple Treat

If you decide you want to try this, remember that Tea Tree Oil is a healing agent and if you have any lesions, wounds, dandruff, etc. it will work to heal it--but sometimes that has an intense "tingle" at first.  Just suffice to say that you should use it on your hair and body for awhile to get used to it before you use it as a body wash--especially on the nether regions. ;)  Although, once you're accustomed to it, it's like a "minty-fresh" feeling all over your skin, in much the same way as your mouth feels "minty fresh" when you've had a breath-mint.
